1. What kinds of chatbots are there?

There are two main types:

  1. Knowledge Bots – which can answer questions based on some question and answers
  2. Query Bots – these can provide answers based on information tied to transactional systems like SAP ERP
2. Do we need to install any server or software?

No servers are needed. There is a small ABAP Add-on that need to be installed and configured on the SAP ERP system.
